University Planning Office
The mission of the University Planning Office is to support quality enhancement through evidence-based planning and decision making to advance the university's mission and vision. The University Planning Office compirises the Centre for Institutional Quality Enhancement (CIQE) and the Office of Institutional Research and Analysis (OIRA).
Activities include strategic and operational planning, leading initiatives (such as government-funded projects that enhance student success), assessment, institutional research, and adherence to provincially mandated quality-assurance processes. The Office's efforts are directed toward identifying, analyzing, and monitoring internal and external trends and developments that influence the university's vision. It facilitates systemic, institution-wide processes that align priorities, decisions, and resources. The Office supports program creation and the resource allocation to support this.
