Situated in our downtown campus location, the 61 Charles Street Building was formerly home to the Alger Press. Bordessa Hall

The Faculty of Social Science and Humanities occupies Bordessa Hall, immediately to the north of the Regent Theatre.

The 2,800-square-metre, five-storey facility includes four large classrooms, labs, study space for undergraduate and graduate students, a student lounge, a boardroom and faculty offices.

Located in the heart of downtown Oshawa at 11 Simcoe Street North, the Faculty of Education was the inaugural Â鶹´«Ã½ faculty at the university’s downtown Oshawa location. Students benefit from classrooms equipped with movable walls to provide larger spaces as required, innovative teaching technologies to help facilitate their learning and specialty classrooms for their science, art and drama studies.

Regent Theatre

Regent Theatre

Given the theatre's history, the role it has played in downtown Oshawa and the special attachment the community continues to have for the Regent, Â鶹´«Ã½ is proud to have played a part in the restoration of the theatre returning it to its former glory. The Regent is used as a large lecture theatre for Â鶹´«Ã½ students, and for community and cultural events during the evenings and on weekends throughout the year.
