The Campus Community Connect event is our way of opening the doors of our university to the local community. We invite you to join us on campus to meet our staff and students and tour our world-class facilities!

Keynote Speaker
Dr. Theresa Stotesbury, a recent Research Excellence Award Winner at Â鶹´«Ã½ University, will speak about her cutting edge forensic science research. Her talk title is "This talk is just my (blood) type: the science behind fake blood."
Dr. Stotesbury is an assistant professor in the Faculty of Science and early career researcher in the forensic science program in the Faculty of Science. Her research group characterizes how biological tissues, like blood, degrades in the environment and finds innovative ways to use this information to help with forensic investigations.

Tours and Research
Tour our world class facilities including the wind-tunnel, science and engineering laboratories, and of course, our beloved farm that is also home to the grave of Northern Dancer.

We will provide a light lunch and some outdoor games for entertainment!
