Student Leadership Awards Ceremony
On March 28, the Student Engagement and Equity department hosted the ceremony in the Energy Research Centre Atrium. Students, faculty members (including Deans and Associate Deans), staff and guests joined celebrate the amazing accomplishments of the top finalists in five award categories.
Winners:
- Creating a Sticky Campus award: Maria Sethi; Faculty of Science, Bachelor of Science, Biology Program
- Learning Re-imagined award: Jemma Tam; Faculty of Science, Biological Science Program
- Partnerships award: Akash Samantha; Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science, PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering
- Tech with a Conscience award: Kartiki Balsekar, Faculty of Health Sciences, Bachelor of Health Science (Honours) Kinesiology Program
- President's Award of Excellence in Student Leadership:
- Graduate: Benjamin Fedoruk, Mitch and Leslie Frazer Faculty of Education, Master of Education
- Undergraduate: Emily Lai, Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science; Software Engineering (Honours)
