Refine your presentation skills with the Facilitating Academic Support and Training (FAST) program
The invites instructors, staff and administrators to register for the Facilitating Academic Support and Training (FAST) program to refine their presentation skills. This program is ideal for individuals who design and deliver educational experiences and training sessions.
Who can participate?
- All staff members and administrators at Â鶹´«Ã½ University.
By the end of this program, you will be able to:
- Design a synchronous educational experience, such as a training session, workshop, or webinar, with clear learning outcomes and activities.
- Deliver content in a way that is accessible, engaging, and inclusive, following the principles of Universal Design for Learning.
- Apply professional and inclusive communication strategies to support effective instruction and facilitation.
When and where will FAST take place?
- FAST will be offered biweekly on Mondays from 10 to 11:30 a.m., from May 12 to June 23. (FAST will not be offered on May 19 due to the Victoria Day holiday)
- Upon registration, participants may choose to join the sessions online or in person at the north Oshawa campus.
