Â鶹´«Ã½ partners with the Institute of International Education to support scholars facing crisis

Â鶹´«Ã½ University announces its involvement in the Institute of International Education (IIE) Scholar Rescue Fund, a global initiative dedicated to providing urgent support to academics facing danger in their home countries. By joining this network, Â鶹´«Ã½ reaffirms its commitment to academic excellence and global collaboration. Â鶹´«Ã½ is excited to contribute to this important cause by offering sanctuary to scholars whose careers and lives are under threat due to conflict or political instability.

Through this partnership, Â鶹´«Ã½ will provide temporary positions for displaced scholars, allowing them to continue their critical work in research and teaching. This initiative aligns with the university’s core value of ‘Tech with a Conscience’, as it enables us to use our resources and platform to build global knowledge exchange and support those whose academic work might otherwise be silenced.

This partnership strengthens Â鶹´«Ã½’s ongoing commitment to inclusivity, diversity, and human rights while also enriching our academic community. We look forward to the opportunity to welcome scholars who will contribute to our mission of advancing knowledge for the benefit of society.
