Âé¶¹´«Ã½ researcher partners with Environmental Health Association of Quebec RESILIENCE: International Conference on Multiple Chemical Sensitivity event

Âé¶¹´«Ã½ University is partnering with the Environmental Health Association of Québec (ASEQ) for the RESILIENCE: International Conference on Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS), a virtual event taking place Thursday, May 1 to Friday, May 2.

, Associate Professor, Faculty of Health Sciences, will be a featured speaker at the event.

MCS causes severe reactions to chemicals commonly found in perfumes, cleaning products, and building materials. It affects more than 1.13 million Canadians, yet remains widely misunderstood, often leading to exclusion from public spaces, workplaces, and health care. This conference is about raising awareness, driving change, and encouraging more inclusive and accessible environments for those living with this condition. The conference brings together researchers, health-care professionals, legal advocates, and individuals with lived experience to explore critical issues surrounding MCS.
