How to reconfigure your email on your mobile device after your ontariotechu.ca account transitions to the cloud
On Monday, February 24, following the transition of ontariotechu.ca email accounts to the cloud, staff and faculty who access their email on mobile devices will need to reconfigure their email accounts.
Information Technology (IT) Services encourages all faculty and staff to download the recommended Outlook app before the transition to shorten the steps following the move.
Note: IT Services recognizes some users access their mail through the Apple mail app. However, some Microsoft Exchange Online features available after the transition may not be fully compatible with the Apple mail app. Faculty and staff are strongly encouraged to use the Outlook app moving forward.

Important reminders:
- From Wednesday, February 19 until after the transition, IT Services asks that staff and faculty avoid making any changes to their Outlook calendars, including meeting changes or cancellations. Changes made during this time may not appear after the transition.
- The transition is scheduled between 6 p.m. on Friday, February 21 and 6 a.m. on Monday, February 24.
- While IT Services is completing this work, you will not be able to access your ontariotechu.ca email using Outlook on your desktop, web (email.ontariotechu.ca) or mobile device.
