Registration now open for the 2025 3MT® competition
The School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies (SGPS) is excited to announce registration for the 2025 Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) competition is now open!
This engaging competition challenges master’s and PhD students to present their research and its broader impact to a panel of non-specialist judges in just three minutes, using only one static slide. Participants will have the chance to represent Â鶹´«Ã½ at the provincial 3MT® finals, refine their presentation skills through personalized coaching, and develop essential communication techniques to explain complex ideas effectively. The competition also offers cash prizes, with awards of up to $1,000.
The 3MT® heats will take place on Wednesday, March 19, with top competitors advancing to the finals on Thursday, March 20. Registration closes on Friday, January 31.
