Mitch and Leslie Frazer Faculty of Education student recognized with award from Canadian Association of Teacher Education
Madison Westley, graduate student in the Mitch and Leslie Frazer Faculty of Education, recently received an award from the at its conference held at McGill University. Madison received the award for her paper titled "Exploring the Impacts of Media Use in the Classroom and Trauma."
Her valuable research contributes to the field of trauma-informed care in education. Madison continues to explore this topic in her EdD research and her work in the Mental Health in the Digital Age Lab with her supervisor Dr. Jennifer Laffier. The lab focuses on research-to-action projects that explore technology's role in mental health.
