Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Faculty of Health Sciences researchers earn Tom Waters Award at Applied Ergonomics Conference

Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Faculty of Health Sciences (FHSc) master’s degree candidate Ryuta Dhamaputra, together with , Associate Professor, FHSc, and Ryan Porto, Technical Specialist, Ergonomics and Virtual Manufacturing at General Motors, recently received the Tom Waters Award, in recognition of the best Manual Handling Presentation at the Applied Ergonomics Conference held in Louisville, Kentucky. The Tom Waters Award is sponsored by Liberty Mutual.

The title of the talk, Understanding Real-Time Body Tracking in VR-based Ergonomics Analysis, represents the master’s thesis work Dharmaputra is completing in collaboration with Porto at General Motors.
