Â鶹´«Ã½ University announces Ade Oyemade as the new Executive Director of Information Technology (IT) Services. With an impactful career spanning nearly 25 years, primarily focused on IT within higher education, Ade has distinguished herself as a visionary leader in digital strategy and innovation. As Executive Director, Ade will apply her vast experience to further elevate Â鶹´«Ã½ University's IT services, driving innovation and operational excellence.
Ade has led various strategic IT initiatives and process improvements throughout her career. Most recently, as Â鶹´«Ã½’s Director of Digital Strategy and Innovation, she played a pivotal role in orchestrating a university-wide digital transformation, enhancing both operational efficiency and the student experience. Notable initiatives under her leadership include the adoption of a leading-edge learning-management system, introduction of cloud-based collaboration platforms, and the modernization of student platforms. Ade promotes a dynamic and inclusive digital environment that aligns with the university's vision, mission and values.
Ade holds a Master of Information Management from Dalhousie University and a Bachelor of Commerce in Information Systems from Toronto Metropolitan University. She has received multiple awards and commendations recognizing her dedication to excellence and innovation.
