Accessible chairs in classrooms
Student Accessibility Services (SAS), within the Office of Student Life, has provided accessible furniture for various classrooms on campus. This furniture can include height-adjustable desks and comfortable rolling chairs.
The SAS team would like to remind the campus community that this furniture—especially the chairs—should not be removed from classrooms. When the chairs get moved to an office or another classroom, SAS is no longer able to guarantee that a space includes accessible equipment for students. SAS appreciates your assistance with continuing to accommodate our students. Please remind your students to leave the chairs in the classrooms at the end of class.
