International Love Data Week happens February 12 to 16
International Love Data Week takes place Monday, February 12 to Friday, February 16. The week focuses on data equity and inclusion, disciplinary communities, and how to create a kinder world through data.
This year’s theme is My Kind of Data. Throughout the week, the Campus Library will present a series of online workshops open to all students, staff and faculty:
- Monday, February 12 from 1:10 to 2 p.m.: :
- Learn how data fits into citation management, and how to properly cite data resources.

- Monday, February 12 from 2 to 3 p.m.:
- See what library data resources like the Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR), Data Liberation Initiative (DLI), and odesi (a web-based data exploration, extraction, and analysis tool) can reveal about love.

- Friday, February 16 from 11:10 a.m. to noon:
- Have data everywhere, but not sure where to put it or how long you should hang onto it? Learn about research data management (RDM), how it fits into your research process, current best practices, how effective RDM relates to grants and funding, and how to get started on creating a RDM plan.
- Friday, February 16 from 12:10 to 1 p.m.:
- Ever see a great presentation of data and think ‘I want to do that!’? Transform your data with this workshop.
