Teaching Scholar-in-Residence announcement
Dr. Susan Forbes, Director, Teaching and Learning Centre, and Dr. Mary Bluechardt, Interim Deputy Provost, are pleased to announce the appointment of the 2024 Â鶹´«Ã½ Teaching Scholar-in-Residence recipient.
Congratulations to Dr. Laura Banks, Associate Teaching Professor, Faculty of Health Sciences.
Dr. Banks’ residency will focus on Diverse Teaching and Learning Experiences through her ‘e-Teach’ initiative, which advances best practices in innovative technology use to promote teaching excellence within student-centered learning experiences at Â鶹´«Ã½. Dr. Banks’ program will focus on instructional design, digital applications, and open educational resources. This project will draw from the collective expertise of our distinguished faculty through various activities.
Our Teaching Scholar-in-Residence will also work alongside the Teaching and Learning Centre team to promote Â鶹´«Ã½’s ‘Learning Reimagined’ priorities to develop stimulating innovation and provide a fulfilling student-centred experience.
