Announcing new appointments within the Communications and Marketing department, and the Office of the Deputy Provost
Â鶹´«Ã½ University is pleased to announce two new appointments:
Amy Neil, Executive Director, Brand and Communications, effective November 1, 2023.
Reporting to the Office of the President, Amy strategically oversees and safeguards the Â鶹´«Ã½ brand. Her role involves developing impactful marketing, communications and promotional strategies to enhance the university's mission, boost brand awareness locally and internationally, and promote campus pride among university community members. Amy is a collaborative advocate, working to engage partners, government, and the community by boldly telling the university's story through its vibrant brand.
Amy joined Â鶹´«Ã½ in early 2010, taking on various roles that showcased her dedication and expertise. In her most recent role as Director, Brand and Marketing, she has consistently contributed to digital recruitment strategies that have led to impressive province-leading growth in overall applications and acceptances year after year. She has enhanced campus events, notably transforming Spring Convocation into a celebratory outdoor experience on Polonsky Commons, and has introduced a new tradition of hosting the university's now-annual Fall Convocation at the Regent Theatre. Additionally, she currently leads the master campus branding and wayfinding signage strategy, actively promoting the Â鶹´«Ã½ brand throughout all spaces. This initiative is creating a welcoming and comfortable campus environment for students, faculty, staff and visitors. One of Amy’s proudest and most notable accomplishments was playing a pivotal role in the development and execution of Â鶹´«Ã½ University's rebrand in 2019.

The CEELCD Hub will centralize resources and opportunities for students to enhance their hands-on learning, and to identify and realize their educational and career goals in an equitable and inclusive environment. Lindsay’s experience and commitment to building strong relationships and partnerships within institutions and externally with employers and the community will further support Â鶹´«Ã½ students’ experience.
Lindsay joined Â鶹´«Ã½ in 2006. Most recently, she served as the university’s Director of External Relations and Partnerships, with responsibility for community and corporate relations, including the university’s Partnerships office, which acts as a front-door service for industry and community partners into the university. She will continue to oversee Partnership activities while in this interim role.
