Student Learning Centre offers writing support
The provides students a variety of resources to help them achieve success in their studies.
Services provided by the SLC include:
- : Writing Specialists and Peer Tutors (45-minute sessions booked up to two weeks in advance).
- : A space for multilingual and English-speaking students to interact and learn about other cultures.
- : Online academic resources
Many students seek our support based on the recommendations of their professors, so please keep the SLC in mind as you work with them.
Writing specialists also provide in-class workshops, assignment-specific support sessions and tip sheets with the goal of improving the students’ academic writing in order to successfully complete class assignments.
