Â鶹´«Ã½ Fair Trade Campus Designation

Join the (OCIS) Wednesday, October 25 at the Fair Trade Campus Designation event for Fair Trade refreshments, an engaging webinar, and social sustainability discussions.

Over the last several years, Â鶹´«Ã½ University has taken strides to offer only Fair Trade tea and coffee at campus dining locations and catered events, engage the community about Fair Trade, and organize a Fair Trade committee. These actions have earned Â鶹´«Ã½ a Fair Trade Campus Designation from Fair Trade Canada. The October 25 event celebrates this designation and our commitment to supporting Fair Trade practices and promoting sustainability.

During the event you'll have the chance to learn more about Fair Trade while enjoying some Fair Trade products. OCIS will also be presenting a Fair Trade Canada webinar: A Conversation with the Next Generation of Farmers, where you can hear directly from a banana farmer, a cocoa farmer and a coffee farmer.

Whether you're a student, faculty member, or community member, this event is an excellent opportunity to learn, support, and contribute to the Fair Trade movement. Join us and be a part of the positive change!
