Dr. Pedersen, an AI expert, has significant experience teaching and researching AI ethics. At Â鶹´«Ã½, she teaches a Global AI ethics course in the Computer Science graduate program.
“We need to use much longer forecasting strategies to identify unintended consequences, and we need to teach our students to also work on strategies for mitigation and reversal of unintended negative effects of Artificial Intelligence Systems,” says Dr. Pedersen.
