Introducing enhanced performance-development resources on HR website, and reminder to complete goal-setting task by June 30

Â鶹´«Ã½ University’s Human Resources (HR) department has updated the performance development section of the university’s HR website to include new content and resources that will assist employees and managers complete their performance tasks more easily.

What’s new:

  • – Learn about goal setting, navigating your career, one-on-one meetings, and more. You can also get to the log in screen from here for , the platform the university uses to support hiring requests, job postings, screening of applicants, selection of candidates, hiring, onboarding activities, and the performance development cycle (goal setting, mid-cycle conversations, and performance reviews).
    • You’ll also be able to see the performance cycle timelines.
    • Get tips on conditions of high performance.
  • – Learn how to create effective goals; align your goals with those of your team, faculty or unit; create ‘SMARTER’ goals (specific, measureable, achievable, relevant, time-based, evaluated and reassessed); and discover five reasons to set professional goals.
    • Includes Sample Goals you can use outright as your own goals, or as models to help you write your own ‘SMARTER’ goals that you enter into the MY HR Connection platform.
  • – How to have dialogues between employees and managers.
    • Find some sample conversation starters that can lead to more-productive meetings.
