Setup for Â鶹´«Ã½ Convocation begins May 12
Convocation provides the university with an important opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate the achievements and milestones of our graduating class. Spring Convocation celebrating the Â鶹´«Ã½ class of 2023 will take place on Polonsky Commons Wednesday, June 7 through Friday, June 9.
Preparations for Convocation will begin shortly on campus.
Convocation setup schedule:
- Friday, May 12 – Telescopic forklift and scissor lift dropped off on campus between the Science Building and the Link
- Sunday, May 14 through Monday, May 15 – Tent frame installation
- Tuesday, May 16 – Lights and fans installed in the tent
- Monday, May 29 – Installation of tent side walls
- Tuesday May 30 or Wednesday, May 31 to Sunday, June 4: Floor, stage and chair setup
- Monday, June 5 and Tuesday, June 6 – Final Convocation setup, outside and inside buildings
- Wednesday, June 7 to Friday, June 9: Convocation
- Saturday, June 10 to Wednesday, June 14 – Convocation teardown and clean up
