It is an exciting time on campus with the buzz of Convocation in the air. We are looking forward to having many of you join us in celebrating the newest grads to join the Â鶹´«Ã½ Alumni community.

The preparations for Convocation on-campus have already begun, and we want to keep the campus community informed on potential service disruptions.

Now, through Wednesday, June 14 there will setup, events and teardown happening in Polonsky Commons and the surrounding outdoor spaces.

Monday, June 5 – Convocation setup will begin in the Business and IT Building (UB), the Science Building and Shawenjigewining Hall.

Tuesday, June 6 – Convocation setup will begin in the main gyms at the Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre and in front of the Library near the reflecting pond.

Convocation events will be taking place Wednesday, June 7 to Friday, June 9.

• Expect the parking lots to be busy.
• Expect Shawenjigewining Hall, the Business and IT Building, the Science Building, and Polonsky Commons to be busy and noisy.
• Hunter’s Kitchen in the UB Building will be closed.
• The Tim Hortons location in Shawenjigewining Hall will be closed.

Teardown and resetting of all indoor and outdoor spaces will commence in the evening on Friday, June 9 and continue until Wednesday, June 14.

We are still looking for volunteers to support the activities on June 7, 8 and 9 – !
