Spin Through the Seasons raises more than $9,000 for student-athletes
Spin Through the Seasons was a huge success, raising more than $9,000 in support of our student-athletes through the Adopt-a-Ridgeback fund and Ridgeback student-athletes.
Multi-sport Team Canada athlete and spin instructor, Kim Haagmans-Hawke led 72 riders though four separate one-hour spin classes in the ACE Climatic Wind Tunnel on March 11, each featuring weather from one of the four seasons: winter, fall, spring and summer.
Participants enjoyed several mini-events during the four-hour fundraiser including a tiki bar, mindfulness sessions, yoga and more.
Thank you to everyone who participated and supported this unique event!
Check out the captured throughout the day.
Finally, we want to acknowledge our presenting sponsor, Johnson Insurance for its ongoing support of our students and university.
