Nominations are open for Board of Governors and Academic Council elections

Nominations are now open for the following vacant positions on the university’s governing bodies:

  • – 1 student position (undergraduate or graduate), 1 faculty position
  • – 3 student positions (undergraduate only) and 10 faculty positions (1 Education, 1 Health Sciences, 2 Science, 2 Social Science and Humanities and 4 At-large)
  • – 1 faculty position and 3 student positions (undergraduate only)
  • - 1 student position (undergraduate)
  • – 1 student position (undergraduate or graduate) and 1 faculty position

Board of Governors

The Board of Governors governs and manages the affairs of the university. The board’s responsibilities are broad; learn about them in full on the .

Academic Council

The Academic Council is the university’s highest academic body and is composed of faculty, students, staff, and senior administrators. The committees that report to it are responsible for a wide range of academic matters; learn about them in full on the .
