Â鶹´«Ã½ Peer Tutoring Program internationally recognized by College Reading and Learning Association

The internationally recognized has awarded Â鶹´«Ã½’s Peer Tutoring Program certification for all three levels of the CRLA certified tutor-training program.

Â鶹´«Ã½ launched its Peer Tutoring Program in January 2011 shortly after the Student Learning Centre opened. Peer tutors are upper-year students who have achieved an A in the courses they tutor; they must have an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.3.

For more than 30 years, the CRLA has been a leader in learning assistance, reading, and academic support programs, with almost 1,300 members and more than 2,000 certified training programs worldwide. Achieving certification means Â鶹´«Ã½’s Peer Tutoring Program meets the CRLA’s high standards for tutor selection, training, direct service, and evaluation.
