On Remembrance Day we honour the courageous individuals who have served Canada and made the ultimate sacrifice to preserve the freedoms we enjoy.

The university invites faculty, staff and students to attend a Remembrance Day ceremony on Monday, November 11:

North Oshawa campus location

Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre, gyms 1 and 2, from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. (doors open at 10:20 a.m.), co-organized by the Â鶹´«Ã½ Student Union and the Durham College Student Association.

Downtown Oshawa

Military parade and service at Memorial Park (outdoors at Simcoe Street South and Metcalfe Street) beginning at 10:30 a.m., hosted by the Royal Canadian Legion and the City of Oshawa. .

Alternatively, you may observe a moment of silence at 11 a.m.
