Join the Collaboration with Google professional development workshop – November 10
The university’s Human Resources department invites faculty and staff to learn about working within Google Workspace and the cloud in a professional development workshop presented by Bevin Moolenschot, Manager, Collaborative Technologies, and Callan Brown, Business Solution Specialist, Information Technology Services.
The workshop will cover the basics of Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides. It will also discuss the benefits of using Google Drive for file storage and sharing, and compatibility with Microsoft documents.
Additionally, participants will learn about the connections between Google services to paint a full picture of Google Workspace. Learn about Spaces, a collaborative hub in Gmail for projects, departments, and daily communication amongst colleagues, and see how Google Drive and Google’s productivity suite can be integrated for organized communication and document management, all in the cloud.
