Take Our Kids to Work Day at Â鶹´«Ã½ – November 2
Each November on Take Our Kids to Work Day, Grade 9 students across Canada spend a day in the life of a working professional: a parent, friend, relative or volunteer host.
This experience enhances students’ understanding of the realities of working life and supports them in their own career exploration to make more informed choices.
The event also gives parents the opportunity to discuss career prospects with their children, and allows the host organization to share knowledge, experience and advice around education, career choices, and relevant skills required in today’s workplace.
Faculty and staff are invited to bring students for an exciting Take Our Kids to Work Day on campus, Wednesday, November 2 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
