Chancellor’s Challenge 5 km Run/Walk raises $160,000 for student scholarships and bursaries

Thank you for going the extra mile for our students in the Chancellor's Challenge 5 km Run/Walk on September 24. This year's Chancellor's Challenge connected faculty, staff, alumni, students and the community through a fun event that helped Â鶹´«Ã½ students.

As a champion of students and science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education, Chancellor Mitch Frazer created the Chancellor's Fund in 2021 with a $1 million goal.

This year’s Challenge raised almost $80,000. The Board of Governor’s Matching Fund matched this amount, doubling the impact of contributions and generating $160,000 for student scholarships and bursaries.

If you haven’t had a chance to contribute and would still like to do so, you can still before the Chancellor's Challenge fundraising page closes on Friday, September 30.

Together, we can reach the finish line and support students in need.
