Register for the Chancellor’s Challenge 5 km Run/Walk

On Saturday, September 24, join Chancellor Mitch Frazer in the Chancellor's Challenge 5 km Run/Walk to raise funds for student scholarships and bursaries. The five-kilometre course winds along Â鶹´«Ã½'s north Oshawa campus location, starting and finishing at Polonsky Commons. The Chancellor’s Challenge is an inclusive and non-competitive community event, with no time limit. Pets are welcome to join participants–please refer to the  for important details.

Why participate?

  • Many students rely on scholarships and bursaries to assist them with the costs of post-secondary education. Your support will help them stay focused on their main goal – excelling in their studies – and help them obtain their Â鶹´«Ã½ degree.

How to get involved:

  • Help fundraise: Check out the and . Set a fundraising goal, personalize your page, and share with your networks. Rally the support of your friends, family, neighbours and colleagues to help you reach your goal. Gifts will be matched by the Board of Governors’ Matching Fund, doubling the impact of contributions.
  • Fundraisers will take an exclusive tour of the directly following the event.
  • Become a Chancellor’s Challenge Champion and share your experience as you prepare for the Challenge. You will receive a  and support for everything you need to get started; contact , Community Engagement Co-ordinator, Advancement office, for details.
  • Volunteer to create an Activation Station at the event to engage participants and spectators in a fun and educational activity showcasing interesting areas of strength at Â鶹´«Ã½.
