Â鶹´«Ã½ Talent appoints new member to its Board of Directors

announces the appointment of to its Board of Directors. In this role, Hirsch-Allen will aim to accelerate Â鶹´«Ã½ Talent’s partnership strategy and guide its investments in workforce planning and development.

Hirsch-Allen’s current work involves building public-private partnerships between North America’s governments, workforce development organizations, colleges and universities, and LinkedIn Talent Solutions. He supports groups such as newcomers and refugees, Indigenous populations, the formerly incarcerated and people with disabilities. 

He advises several startups, including , an online platform that supports hiring managers and candidates throughout the job interview process; and , an online tool that helps users track the time they spend on the Internet and rewards them for accessing quality information sources. He also co-founded , a software development bootcamp. He speaks regularly on the changing nature or future of work and learning and is passionate about skills-based hiring and learning. 

Hirsch-Allen is a Director on the boards of the Canadian Council for Youth Prosperity, the Information and Communications Technology Council, and the Canadian Club of Toronto. He is also co-founder of Hacking Health. A former intellectual property and international criminal lawyer, he was also Chair of the Technology Committee of the Global Education Platform, taught Global Health at McMaster University and clerked at the Supreme Court of Israel.
