Register for Canadian Active Aging Research Meeting

The (FHSc) will host the Active Aging Research Meeting from Tuesday, June 7 through Wednesday, June 8.

The meeting will provide an opportunity for research students to present their work to an expert audience, and for researchers of all stages to network and collaborate on all aspects of active aging research, including sedentary behaviour, age-friendly environments, exercise physiology, masters athletes, and more.

Keynote presentations

  • Low-volume, low-intensity power training improves function in older women: So what?
    Dr. Catherine Amara, Associate Professor, Faculty of Kinesiology and Physical Education, University of Toronto.
  • Older adult safety: A discussion of the training needs of Ontario health professionals for increasing disclosures of older adult maltreatment
    Dr. Joshua Wyman, Banting Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Â鶹´«Ã½ University.
