Upcoming employment systems review focus group sessions
Over the last several months, you received information about an employment systems review (ESR) process at the university being conducted by the (CCDI). This review is an in-depth assessment of Â鶹´«Ã½’s employment systems, policies and practices and their implementation. The ESR is an important aspect of the university’s commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion.
The final component of the ESR is a series of focus groups. CCDI will conduct 90-minute anonymous and confidential focus group sessions with eight employee groups. The remaining session includes:
- Persons with disabilities - faculty, researchers and staff (inclusive of racialized minorities, women, Indigenous, LGBTQ2S+).

On March 8, CCDI (activity@ccdiconsulting.ca) sent you an email inviting you to participate in the virtual focus groups. Participation is completely voluntary; however, we ask that you take a few minutes out of your day to engage. The focus groups will provide a deeper understanding of barriers and perceptions of issues employees face, with an emphasis on understanding the experiences of diverse employees.
