Shop in Durham this holiday season
This holiday season, Durham Tourism invites Durham Region residents to shop local.
Buying local will have a big impact on small businesses. Shoppers can help spread the message by using the hashtag #ShopInDurham when sharing holiday finds on social media.
Contest details:
- Take a picture of your favourite local shop or product, or take a selfie in front of a local store or with the shop owner.
- Tell everyone why you love that shop, shop owner or product.
- Post the picture on your Instagram, using the hashtag #ShopInDurham.
- Enter as many times as you like with new photos.
Participants will be eligible to win $300 in local gift cards. Three prizes are available to be won. One winner will be chosen for November, December and January.
