Exam information and support for faculty and students

The fall final examination period runs Monday, December 8 through Thursday, December 18.

Online support

The university’s department and TLC can assist faculty members and students through during the exam period. 

For support before exams, faculty members should contact servicedesk@dc-ot.ca; students should contact softwaresupport@ontariotechu.ca

Planning for smooth exam delivery

  • Advise students to check for reliable Internet connection.
  • Advise students to ensure their laptop works and is charged. For more student tips, see the page on the IT Services website.
  • If using or Respondus Monitor, create and deploy a mock test at least 48 hours before the exam to test settings and ensure students can use the examination tool.
  • Review the Guide from Student Accessibility Services (SAS): . If instructors have questions or concerns about exams or tests, they can contact sasexams@ontariotechu.ca.

During the exam

  • Instruct students to limit the number of devices connected to the network, preferably to just the one they are using to complete their exam.

After the exam 

  • Final grades must be submitted to the Office of the Registrar by Tuesday, January 4 at 10 a.m. Faculty are advised to also consult their home faculty for any internal deadlines.
  • Students will see their final grades on MyCampus
