FESNS researcher Dr. Akira Tokuhiro receives Women in Nuclear Canada Ally of the Year Award
Dr. Akira Tokuhiro, Professor, Faculty of Energy Systems and Nuclear Science (FESNS) has earned the inaugural Ally of the Year Award. He received the award on October 18 during WiN’s global conference.
The honours an individual who actively stands up for workplace inclusion and promotes WiN Canada and the benefits of the nuclear industry via social media, speaking engagements or other methods.
Kaitlyn Brown, graduate student, FESNS, nominated Dr. Tokuhiro for being an ally to women in nuclear science and helping to build a culture of gender diversity and inclusion at Â鶹´«Ã½.
