Scheduled power outage at Shawenjigewining Hall to test emergency power – Friday, October 1
The university will test the emergency power in Shawenjigewining Hall at the university’s north Oshawa campus location on Friday, October 1 after 5 p.m.
Testing will take about four hours and will include a temporary power outage. During the outage, only emergency lights in common areas and corridors will have power. Officials from Oshawa Fire Services will also participate in this testing and inspection.
Ensure you unplug or turn off any sensitive equipment in your workspace prior to the start of the outage.
