Mandatory updated accessibility training for Â鶹´«Ã½ faculty, staff and volunteers
In accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and the Integrated Accessibility Standard Regulation (IASR), all Â鶹´«Ã½ University employees and volunteers are required to complete the university’s updated mandatory accessibility training modules available on the Canvas learning management system.

On or before Friday, October 15:
- All university faculty, staff and volunteers must complete the following training modules:
- Â鶹´«Ã½ University AODA modules (takes less than two hours).
- Working Together: The Code and the AODA (takes approximately 20 minutes).
Access the Â鶹´«Ã½ University AODA modules by visiting and selecting the Login link located in the top right corner. Do not create a new account. If you have previously logged in to learn.ontariotechu.ca, select the Learn LMS Login option, or otherwise select the Staff Login option. If you are unable to login, ask for assistance by emailing lms@ontariotechu.ca.

All faculty and instructors (including full-time and limited-term faculty members, academic associates, sessional instructors, teaching assistants, research assistants, and invigilators) must complete the (if you haven’t done so within the last six months). The module takes approximately 40 minutes.
- Managers must reinforce this message and ensure all volunteers, university works students, incoming co-op/placement students and contract employees complete the mandatory training as soon as reasonably practicable after their start date.
Completion of the modules will be tracked and recorded in Canvas.
