Age-friendly Campus Community Connect event – August 11

The university’s Age-Friendly Committee will welcome older adults to campus for an in-person outdoor event on Wednesday, August 11.

Attendees will:

  • Chat with students who will host a ‘living library’ with community members to engage in conversations and listen to life stories.
  • Join members of the Seniors Ridgeback Committee for drop-in games and activities.
  • Meet with students and chat with researchers and staff.
  • Tour the campus, including: Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre, Campus Library, and ACE Climatic Wind Tunnel.

When: Wednesday, August 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Where:
 Polonsky Commons (north Oshawa campus location)
