Future changes to Google’s storage policy
Google recently announced a (previously known as G Suite for Education). The current unlimited storage for educational institutions will end in July 2022.
As Â鶹´«Ã½ is a customer, this new policy will apply to ontariotechu.net faculty, staff and student accounts, and specifically, will result in changes to individual and collective data usage and storage capacity on Google Drive at the university.
In Fall 2021, Information Technology (IT) Services will implement a directive imposing storage limits for all individual faculty, staff and student ontariotechu.net accounts.
In advance of these changes, IT Services asks that all faculty, staff and students review their current storage use and take steps to reduce data usage. Learn how you can reduce data usage and storage by visiting the .
