Join the third-annual Immersion Experience and the Practice of Mindfulness

The university’s invites you to the third-annual from Wednesday, May 12 through Sunday, May 16. Hosted by , this event offers support and inspiration for greater calm, clarity and connection.

The free, drop-in sessions are an online mediation retreat with 37 mindfulness workshops.

What is mindfulness?

Mindfulness is the basic human ability to be fully present, aware of where we are and what we are doing and not being overly reactive or overwhelmed by what is going on around us. Jon Kabat-Zinn, PhD, Founder and former Director of the , helped bring the practice of mindfulness meditation into mainstream health care. Mindfulness is not a religion—anyone, with any belief system, can enjoy its benefits.
