FHSc researcher and master’s student co-author paper examining effective use of masks to limit the spread of COVID-19
Dr. Wally Bartfay, Associate Professor, Faculty of Health Sciences (FHSc), recently published an article entitled Use of masks as a preventative public health strategy to limit the spread of COVID-19, in the Journal of Clinical Microbiology and Research.
In the article, Dr. Bartfay, along with co-author Marina Ali, Master of Health Sciences student, review the efficiency of different mask types and their demonstrated effectiveness in decreasing transmission of COVID-19 from a global perspective.
