TLC welcomes new staff members to its team

The (TLC) welcomes new staff members and sees other team members take on new roles this winter. The new staff will help TLC continue supporting students, instructors, and teaching assistants with instructional and educational technology, multimedia development, teaching techniques, instructional design, training, and more. 

New hires include: 

Sunny Mutti, Multimedia Developer

Mutti is a distinguished multimedia developer who joins the team with several years of experience with Durham College. Mutti’s background includes video production, editing, motion graphics and instructional design. He is currently pursuing his Bachelor of Arts in Adult Education and Digital Technology at Â鶹´«Ã½.

Alexander “Alex” Pilon, Multimedia Developer

Pilon also joins TLC as a multimedia developer. Pilon’s talents include video and graphic design, content creation, and communications planning. In addition, Pilon brings several years of teaching experience in film and television production, as well as public relations and event management to the team.

Dr. Kaitlyn Watson, Development Officer

Dr. Watson’s curricular, pedagogical, and research interests focus on equity, decolonization and reconciliation. She also brings extensive experience in face-to-face, synchronous and asynchronous teaching experiences to the team.

Dr. Stephanie J. Cork, Faculty Development Co-ordinator

Dr. Cork joins the team as the new Faculty Development Co-ordinator with a strong background in the pedagogy of accessibility. As an interdisciplinary scholar, Dr. Cork is an advocate for diversity, inclusion, equity and disability justice. She too brings diverse and extensive teaching experience to the TLC team.
