FSSH researcher participates in roundtable discussion with Prime Minister Trudeau and health-care professionals
On February 11, Dr. Vivian Stamatopoulos, Associate Teaching Professor, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (FSSH), joined health-care professionals and advocates for a virtual roundtable discussion with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and federal Health Minister Patty Hajdu.
The roundtable was a national conversation about COVID-19 vaccination strategies, and provided an opportunity for health-care professionals and advocates to voice their concerns.
Dr. Stamatopoulos asked the Prime Minister about national standards for long-term care, given how the pandemic has highlighted the crisis facing many seniors.
