Date changes for the MineCoders March Break Camp
Note: The university's virtual MineCoders March Break Camp will now take place from Monday, April 12 through Friday, April 16.
The camp, originally scheduled for March Break, has been moved to April to reflect the decision by the Ontario government to postpone the school break.
Camp registration is now full but a waiting list has been established for those that would like to secure a spot if one becomes available.
The university’s will offer a fun-filled, free virtual MineCoders March Break Camp for students in grades 4 through 8.
Campers will:
- Explore coding through Minecraft.
- Develop global competencies and important socio-emotional skills such as communication, collaboration, critical thinking and creativity.
- Benefit from student-centered approaches to teaching and learning.
- Work on projects and create with digital tools.
Session times:
- Grades 4 through 6: 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
- Grades 7 and 8: 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
