Participate in an Indigenous Choker Workshop – February 22

Indigenous education and reconciliation are important priorities for the university.

The Human Resources (HR) department offers a number of Indigenous workshops throughout the year as a way of building a sense of gratitude, understanding and appreciation for Indigenous people, their history, and the land they have welcomed us to share with them.

Faculty and staff are invited to participate in the Indigenous Choker Workshop on Monday, February 22 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Join Rick Bourque, Indigenous Knowledge Keeper, on Google Meet to learn how to create an authentic Indigenous choker. Workshop kits will be available for pickup a week prior to the session.

Register online to participate.
