Updates to the university’s Land Acknowledgement of traditional Indigenous territories

Due to remote working conditions, we may all be working or studying from different territories. The university encourages you to take time to reflect on the traditional territory you’re on, what treaty it’s covered under, and your own personal relationship to the land. You can use this information to adapt the Land Acknowledgement during remote meetings and events. A recording of the Land Acknowledgement is available to guide you in proper pronunciation to deliver the acknowledgement with confidence. Visit the to view these updates.
