Hydrogen Energy Technologies: Challenges and Opportunities – January 13

On Wednesday, January 13, the university’s Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science (FEAS) will host a conference entitled Hydrogen Energy Technologies: Challenges and Opportunities.

About the event:

A number of provinces as well as the federal government are working on strategic plans related to the production and supply of clean, responsibly sourced energy sources such as hydrogen. Reinforcing Â鶹´«Ã½’s research strengths in this area, the event will bring together key researchers, project leaders, policy makers, strategists and other experts to discuss hot topics in hydrogen energy technology, including:

  • Hydrogen production and utilization.
  • Safety codes and standards.
  • Taking hydrogen from innovation to commercial viability.
  • Local and global economic initiatives.

The event is co-ordinated by Dr. Ibrahim Dincer, Professor, FEAS, a leading researcher in hydrogen energy technologies.
