Universities Canada also shares the following resources and information highlighting the university sector’s central role in Canada’s innovation ecosystem:
- : This article in fourth-annual Innovation issue published by Paul Davidson, President and CEO, Universities Canada, tells the story of the university response to the pandemic in Canada, and makes the case for increased investment in research and innovation.
- : Presentation on the results of a survey conducted by Bruce Anderson, Chair, Abacus Data.
- Enhanced website, a tool to help businesses, non-profits, governments and others access the experts, facilities and intellectual property that exists on campuses across Canada.
- Universities Canada will hold two cross-sector events showcasing great examples of university knowledge being mobilized to tackle the challenges on the minds of Canadians: one on clean tech in December and another one on pandemic preparedness in the new year. Early work is also underway on opportunities to engage executive heads in the innovation discussion with key stakeholders in early 2021 through a virtual event.
