Google Meet recently released a series of new features that are now available in . We encourage you to visit the to watch some short and easy-to-understand support videos that will help you with your daily teaching and operational activities.
Updates include:
- Breakout rooms: Split participants into smaller groups.
- Host controls: Manage your participants’ entrance to the call, mute, share screen and remove participants.
- Meet dial in/out: Add a participant to a meet call by calling in.
- Noise cancellation: Filter out background noise.
- Polls: Engage with participants and get instant feedback.
- Transfer ownership: Create an event and transfer ownership to another user.
- Questions and answers: Manage interaction and participation during a meet through the Q&A option.
- 49-person tile view: View yourself and more participants in a meeting.
